China’s moneyed classes want 'soul', not showiness: TBWA & Rhizome

SHANGHAI - Among the upper echelons of China’s moneyed classes, there is clear demand for a move away from ostentation and toward "far more soulful" luxury consumption, according to a joint whitepaper from TBWA\Luxury Arts China and Rhizome, a research partner of Fudan University’s Business Anthropology Center.
