Absolut Blank is a creative campaign wherein the spirits company has turned its iconic bottle into a blank canvas to inspire artists throughout the world to collaborate and fill it with their creative works. It seeks to encourage all artists and Absolut fans to 'fill in the blank and spread the word that art can be created by anyone, anywhere and with anything.'

The art collection tour has made previous stops at Beijing and Seoul with the final stop in Shanghai. In the Shanghai stop, rising Chinese artist Lu Xinjian and musician and producer Lou Nanli (known as B6) collaborated on an artwork entitled 'Absolutly A-mazed', capturing the energy of Shanghai. In Beijing, avant-garde artists participated in designing limited edition bottles.

The Shanghai exhibition showcases 20 artworks, including pieces by Andy Warhol, Francesco Clemente and Rosemarie Trockel. The works use a variety of media including canvas, plexiglass, tin, photography and paper.

"This installation artwork marks a new milestone for the collaboration of Absolut and the art world," explained Lu Xinjian. "Absolut Blank encouraged unbounded creativity which led to the inspiration behind this installation. Absolutly A-mazed allowed us to provide audiences with a vivid glimpse of this dynamic city."
