Kunal Jeswani appointed CEO of Ogilvy ASEAN

Ogilvy has promoted Kunal Jeswani to CEO of Ogilvy ASEAN, a newly created role aimed at enhancing leadership and fostering growth in the region.

In addition to this new role, Jeswani, who has been with Ogilvy since 2005, will retain his ongoing CEO role leading Ogilvy Singapore and Malaysia. Prior to his role across Singapore and Malaysia, Kunal was CEO of Ogilvy India for seven years. In his new role, he will collaborate closely with regional leaders to ensure seamless execution of creative strategies.

Based in Singapore, Jeswani will report to Kent Wertime and Chris Reitermann, co-CEOs of Ogilvy APAC, who expressed confidence in Jeswani's ability to shape the future of Ogilvy in this dynamic market.

"Kunal’s track-record of success in India, Singapore, and Malaysia, and his ability to nurture creative excellence, make him the ideal leader for ASEAN," said Wertime. "This promotion is not only a recognition of his remarkable contributions but also a reflection of the confidence we have in his ability to shape the future of Ogilvy in this dynamic region.”

Jeswani emphasised the strength of Ogilvy’s network across Southeast Asia and his excitement to work with regional leaders to achieve impactful results.

"Ogilvy’s network across Southeast Asia is incredibly strong. All of our talent, across the full width of our capabilities, is committed to creative work that drives impact and growth for our clients. I am excited to partner with our leaders across the region to do the best work of our lives, together,” he said.

With over two decades in the communications industry, Jeswani has spearheaded campaigns across various sectors and played a pivotal role in launching successful initiatives, including major sports leagues and national election campaigns in India.
