Amobee has appointed Todd Chu as senior vice president of global operator innovation to lead the company’s new product offerings.

Chu will be in charge of the solutions architecture team, delivering marketing and advertising technology stack services, while developing the product map for Amobee’s data relationships with service providers. Chu will also work with the company’s global business development team to advance its proprietary Amobee Brand Intelligence assets.

An engineer by background, Chu was most recently SVP of global innovation at Signal, an identity management provider, where he was an early member of the founding team. With over 15 years of senior leadership experience in digital marketing, he has also held positions at aQuantive and DoubleClick.

“I’m excited to be charged with developing an operator framework, accelerate Amobee’s progress and further drive operator innovation,” Chu told Campaign Asia-Pacific. “I have established a legacy of navigating extremely complex digital environments to deliver marketing innovation from concept to execution, and am excited to now be doing that for Amobee."

Chu said he was impressed with Amobee’s expertise in cross-channel media activation and strategic API partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Snapchat, as well as the fact it works with major brands including Airbnb, Kellogg’s and Optus.

“I’m excited to leverage this expertise with my experience in technology, product, and engineering to build an operator framework to drive Amobee’s progress and innovation in this area,” he said.

Kim Perell, Amobee president, said Chu's "deep technology skills and operational expertise" will contribute to the company's ability to deliver high-quality innovation.
