Bates Vietnam appoints Yerry Indrajaya as CD

HO CHI MINH CITY – The creative who brought home Indonesia’s first Cannes Gold Lion has been appointed as creative director for Bates Vietnam.

Yerry Indrajaya moves from Indonesia, where he was creative director for Colman Handoko. He previously worked for Y&R, where he made history when he brought home the very first Gold Cannes Lion for Indonesia.

Indrajaya starts his new role on 1 September and will report to Bates Vietnam managing director Tue Nguyen.

Indonesia and Vietnam are similar in many ways, but Indrajaya will provide a different perspective of using creativity to solve clients’ business problems, Nguyen said.

Indrajaya added, “I look forward to the challenges of working in such a fast changing and exciting market like Vietnam, and also to partnering Tue Nguyen, Hendra Lesmono and the local creative team to lift our creative profile in Vietnam though innovative changengage solutions.”

Yerry will work on bates Vietnam’s key clients including Diageo and Nivea for Men.
