Blak Labs rallies Singaporeans to vote Maybank Home Loan

SINGAPORE – A campaign from new agency Blak Labs has tapped into Singapore’s general election fever to promote Maybank Home Loans.

Last weekend saw voters hit the polls for Singaporeʼs most hotly contested general election. Over nine days of intense campaigning, the public was exposed to a slew of proposals designed to lower the cost of living.

While electioneers were talking about various cost curbing measures, Maybank sought to actually do something about it.

“Weʼve launched a first of its kind home loan package that is a product of its time, reflecting Maybankʼs continued commitment to creating innovative financial solutions,” says Helen Neo, head of consumer banking at Maybank Singapore.

And thereʼs no better way to launch the Hybrid Home Loan than on polling day itself. “We tackled the cost of living issue with a series of tongue-in-cheek ads designed around the themes of an election,” says Charlie Blower, managing partner of newly established micro-agency Blak Labs.

“Early poll results indicate that Singaporeans have chosen well, as Maybank observed a spike in enquiries and interests after the appearance of our ads,” he said.
