Doubleclick hands account management to Five Stones in HK, Taiwan

HONG KONG - Google's Doubleclick has handed their account management business for Hong Kong and Taiwan to Hong Kong-based digital marketing agency Five Stones, without a pitch.

Five stones will be reponsible for handling Doubleclick's services related activities including rich media production, technical services and trafficking in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Other account management related services are still being finalised, according to Five Stones founder Alex Yeung.

Following their appointment, Five Stones will serve as the main contact for agencies working with Doubleclick.

Prior to establishing Five Stones in October 2009, Yeung worked as technical services manager at Doubleclick for nine years. His familiarity with the product and client requirements led to Google extending the partnership without a pitch. 

Five Stones was also the first certified Doubleclick partner in the Asia-Pacific region.

Up until now, all Doubleclick's agency relations was handled in-house.

Five Stones business development director Christine Huang will take charge of the account. The company currently also works with Profero in Australia and Banyan in Singapore.
