The Hong Kong Government’s Narcotics Division (ND) has launched a campaign to increase awareness of the negative consequences of substance abuse among its young victims.

Stand firm, knock drugs out' is the latest campaign that spans across television, radio, online and outdoor displays.

Creative agency Triangle Worldwide Hong Kong said the project's objective is to leave a strong impression among youth people through a series of flashing scenes depicting the harmful effects of drug abuse in the first TV commercial. Two more commercials are scheduled to launch progressively.

The campaign asks people to insist against drugs. According to Triangle business director Anna Chin, the concept 'Stand firm in faith, be the man of courage, be strong, do everything with love' is taken from the bible.

Narcotics Division is also promoting its hotline offering round-the-clock support to victims that are too afraid to turn to their loved ones.
