Offering communications solutions, Isobar Indonesia will begin with 15 employees for clients such as Dexa Medica, Aora TV, Chartis Insurance, Nokia, Philips and Quaker.

It has named Regi Wahyu, CEO of Mediatrac, as the chairman of Isobar Indonesia; he will work closely with Yusca Ismail, executive chairman of Aegis Media Indonesia.

Prior to Mediatrac, Wahyu spent over three years as regional product manager, Asia Pacific at the DuPont Company with responsibility for business development in eight countries. He started his career with an International consulting company and continued his business development journey to lead the commercial team at General Electric (GE).

Providing a brand relationship network, geo demographic marketing, area index marketing, customer relations management and digital marketing, Mediatrac’s core competency is converting data into real and actionable intelligence to deliver profitable strategies for companies.

Isobar Indonesia has also hired Monika Rudijono as its CEO. She joins from Leo Burnett, where she handled new business development for the agency. One of her greatest achievements was the win of Telkomsel, one of the country’s largest telecommunications operator,  as well as the historically unprecedented consolidation of all their brands being awarded to one agency.

She began her career in advertising at MACS in 1997, and joined FCB in 1999 to work on leading accounts such as SC Johnson, Beiersdorf, and Compaq.

Jean Lin, CEO Isobar Asia Pacific said Indonesia’s digital industry has exponential growth opportunities, on its 55 million internet users and being the world’s fourth largest mobile market.

“We are very happy to build Isobar Indonesia on the strong backbone of Mediatrac that Regi has built.  With pioneering digital talent such as Regi and Monika, Isobar can now bring people and brands together like never before and deliver innovative communications solutions in Indonesia.”

With the addition of this new office, Isobar now has 16 offices across 11 markets in Asia Pacific and over 650 staff in total. Isobar Asia Pacific has won more than 70 new accounts, such as Kellogg’s, P&G and Sony Electronics, in the past year, which translated into a turnover growth of 30 per cent.
