M1 ties with Global Yellow Pages Media for customer ads

SINGAPORE - M1 has partnered Global Yellow Pages Media (GYPM) to offer customers an avenue to list their mobile phone numbers and other contact details.

M1 customers will be able to advertise their services or list their mobile numbers at special rates. Customer will also enjoy standard listing on the Internet Yellow Pages online portal.

The service is further being touted to business owners or service providers who do not operate out of dedicated business premises or subscribe to fixed-line phones.

“We are proud to be the first telco in Singapore to work with Global Yellow Pages Media on this new service for our customers. It will allow businesses and individuals to reach a huge audience through using one single platform with multiple contact points, thereby generating more and better business leads and opportunities,” said P Subramaniam, chief marketing officer, M1.

Recently, MediaCorp launched its MMS and SMS news alerts service with M1, broadening the distribution of its mobile offering.
