DBS | 3X Rewards Dining Campaign | Hong Kong

DBS Bank in Hong Kong is giving people more reasons to dine out with a campaign promoting triple credit card rewards.

Ad agency Euro RSCG Hong Kong explains that the ‘true pleasure’ of dining out is not about the food. The agency said: “It can bring together old friends, be a reward for hard work, or even rekindle a romance.”

The through-the-line project involves television, print, outdoor and online advertisements. It also launches an engagement programme through DBS Credit Card Dining Club’s Facebook page. Customers can enjoy ten times the rewards through dining at local mall iSquare and by uploading photos and tagging friends.

The commercial features the Hong Kong Film Awards ‘New performer’ winner Aarif Rahman. From falling in love to falling out of it, Rahman tries to mend a relationship with his girlfriend over dinner.

Marky Lo, executive creative director of Euro RSCG Hong Kong, adds: “People are always looking for reasons to dine out, and with this campaign we hope to remind people that, along with gaining extra rewards by using their DBS Credit Card, the pleasure of dining with people close to you is also a reward in itself.”

This reward campaign follows DBS’ Compass Tycoon campaign also devised by Euro RSCG. The agency has been DBS’ agency of record since 2009.
