The appointment will see him jointly run IF Isobar with ECD Liew Sanyen, and with the support of executive director Christopher Koh, both of whom are the founding partners of the agency.

“Roy has the right mix of experience and skills needed to further spur the growth of IF Isobar this year,” Margaret Lim, executive chairman at Aegis Media Malaysia, said.

The agency clinched the bronze title of Malaysia digital agency of the year in Campaign Asia-Pacific's Agency of the Year Awards 2012.

Meanwhile, Tan will continue his role at Jumptank and drive convergence and digital solutions for the rest of the Aegis Group.

IF Isobar, formerly known as IF Interactive, is a full-service digital agency established in 2002, with clients such as Honda, Unilever, Astro, Discovery and KFC.

The agency’s work ranges from digital consumer campaigns and interactive installations to full scale integrated communications strategy involving social, mobile, video and digital development.

Over the past few years, IF Isobar has garnered awards from ceremonies including One Show Interactive, New York Festival, Webby Award, The Golden Kancil 2009 and Agency of the Year Kancil 2010.
