Ng (pictured) said that Impact Asia's clientele base operates mostly in the luxury and lifestyle sectors. "It is the first time we have been approached by an ad agency to be the PR agency for branding, but we are happy with the agreement as they are a very progressive agency."

The PR agency's immediate task is to help BBH further raise its brand awareness in China on a corporate level.

BBH was founded by John Bartle, Nigel Bogle and Sir John Hegarty in 1982. The agency's Asia headquarters is based in Singapore and its Shanghai office opened in 2006.

BBH China posted a year-on-year income growth of 30 per cent since 2008, with key clients including Perfetti Van Melle's Alpenliebe and Mentos, The Coca Cola Company's Sprite and Minute Maid, Unilever (Lux and Clear), LG Electronics, World Gold Council, Beverage Partners Worldwide, Nanshan, Bose, Diageo (Johnnie Walker), FedEx and The World Wildlife Fund.

BBH Shanghai was also named Creative Agency of the Year 2009 and Independent Agency of the Year 2008 by Campaign Asia-Pacific.
