China DBSTAR appoints Incite to handle brand strategy

BEIJING – China Direct Broadcast Star (China DBSTAR), the first satellite digital distributor in China, has tasked Beijing-based Incite Group with its full service branding business.

China DBSTAR appoints Incite to handle brand strategy

It is believed that the contract was signed at the end of September. Besides brand activation and strategies, Incite will also help with print design, as well as film and TV production, in what it calls a "brand strategic partnership" with DBSTAR.

Founded last December, China DBSTAR falls under the state-owned China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the main contractor for the Chinese space program. Taking advantage of this, DBSTAR has built a market-leading distribution platform for digital publications like e-books and e-newspapers, as well as audio and video products.
