CWT launches AI-powered travel reporting tool

Corporate travel management Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has launched an AI-powered reporting and visualisation tool that works like a personalised search engine. This means that any information about travel programmes can be searched and displayed easily.

By using internet-style search with drill-down capabilities, the tool allows users to access data about their own or their clients' travel programmes in a simple way. On top of that, users can design, create and share dashboards with their colleagues, which could potentially improve program effectiveness and save clients’ time and money.

“CWT AnswerIQ makes corporate travel reporting as easy as shopping for your next pair of shoes on the internet,” said Eric Tyree, chief data scientist, CWT. “You type your request in the search box, AnswerIQ goes through all your data, and gives you the answers – visualized for ease of understanding.”

The tool provides three years’ worth of data and is updated multiple times a day. As with any AI-powered tool, it adapts and improves its search capabilities, making it smarter by the day.
