The appointment marks the first win for the new DDB Indonesia since it was established at the end of last year.
Dean Cloke, managing director at DDB Indonesia said, “This is clearly a great win for us, we look forward to working with PepsiCo to implement world-class brand communications in the Indonesian market.”
Amit Bose, general manager of PepsiCo Indonesia said, “DDB Indonesia is clearly the right fit to ensure a successful partnership formula for PepsiCo’s portfolio business. There already exists a strong wiring between PepsiCo and DDB in markets and at a regional level. We will be able to leverage this to drive our local Indonesia agenda,” he added.
DDB has held the lion's share of key Pepsi non-carbonated brands in Asia since 2003. These include Gatorade, Tropicana and its joint venture on Lipton with Unilever, amongst others.
