Dentsu Beijing snaps up PICC creative account

BEIJING - Dentsu Beijing has won the creative duties for PICC auto insurance after a three-way pitch against a number of undisclosed agencies.

PICC previously worked with various agencies on a project basis.

People's Insurance Company of China Holdings Company (PICC) is state-owned and one of the largest insurance companies in the Mainland. Other big players in the auto insurance sector include Ping An Insurance.

Sources close to the news said that one of the factors for Dentsu Beijing winning the account was the group's existing automobile clients in China, including Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Citroën.
