Digitas appoints new MD in China and Hong Kong

SHANGHAI - Digitas has appointed marketing veterans Ken Hong and Larry Tang as its MD in China and Hong Kong, respectively.

Both Hong (pictured left) and Tang (pictured right) will report to VivaKi country chair for Greater China Yifei Li.

Hong will also lead luxury and premium brands unit Made by Digitas to become the leading digital agency serving luxury brands in China.

Hong hails from Razorfish's Seattle office where he was the VP of strategy, analytics and innovation. His extensive background in strategy and CRM spans across key industries and accounts including Microsoft, Best Buy, Expedia, Weight Watchers, Harrah's, Hotels.com and Investools.

Tang will focus on Digitas' multi-national clients and regional opportunities originating out of Hong Kong and Southern China.

He has delivered innovative marketing solutions and digital strategies for multinational clients across the airline, luxury, FMCG, financial services and technology sectors in the Asia Pacific region.
