BEIJING - Japanese printer and imaging products manufacturer Epson has appointed Bates 141 to a year-long assignment in China.

Epson selects Bates for China project
According to a spokesperson from Bates, the project will focus on through-the-line activity. The spokesperson was unable to specify the scope of the work or what Epson was looking to achieve in the market.

The account will be handled from Beijing.

Epson is not thought to be aligned with a specific agency-of-record in the region. Earlier in the year, Epson appointed JWT Singapore to develop a branding campaign in South and Southeast Asia.

In addition to manufacturing printers, Epson is among the world’s largest producers of computers, scanners, projectors, automation equipment and electronic components.
