ESPN Star Sports to promote World Games 2009 Kaohsiung

SINGAPORE - ESPN Star Sports will be promoting the World Games 2009 across Asia both on its network and through on-ground events.

Besides Singapore, ESPN’s event management group will develop on-ground events to raise the profile of the World Games 2009 Kaohsiung in Malaysia and China. 

The broadcaster will showcase the event, comprising at least 60 hours of live coverage on its STAR Sports Taiwan beam over 10 days of competition in addition to the broadcast of the opening and closing ceremony. 

Its other Star Sports networks in Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia will air 30-min event highlights daily and leading up to the event in July, promotional trailers will also be aired to raise awareness.
