Jaypal was appointed to head the Southeast Asian operations for Euro RSCG in March, but left before the end of her first three months to return to India for personal reasons.

George Yeoh, COO of Euro RSCG Asia-Pacific, said the agency is now exploring opportunities both internally and externally to replace her.

"Although this was disappointing for us, the change does not affect the individual offices in any way," he said.

Jaypal joined Euro RSCG from Ogilvy & Mather, where she spent 12 years in various roles including managing director of OgilvyOne India and group CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia.
