Fleishman-Hillard appoints Dana Xu as senior vice president in Beijing

BEIJING - Fleishman-Hillard has appointed Dana Xu as senior vice president and head of corporate and public affairs for its Beijing operations.

Xu has led high-level cooperative initiatives with central, provincial and municipal Chinese governments over the past 15 years.

“New and complex communication challenges are arising everyday for corporate China in safety, sustainability, consumer, labour, governance issues. These issues are driving increased demand for our services, especially in public affairs, corporate reputation management, stakeholder engagement, CSR, social media and issue response,” said Li Hong, Fleishman-Hillard’s China president and senior partner.

“Our multinational clients increasingly seek our counsel on China’s policy issues, such as the impact of grassroots opinion on government policy and regulatory changes," added Lynne Anne Davis, Asia Pacific president of Fleishman-Hillard. “Dana’s extensive consulting experience will add further depth to our corporate and public affairs capabilities in China.”

Prior to joining Fleishman-Hillard, Xu worked for Ogilvy Public Relations for 10 years, where she served clients including Colgate, Abbott Laboratories, Unilever, Shiseido, GlaxoSmithKline, adidas, Bupa, FM Global, Kraft Foods, Kimberly-Clark, Johnson & Johnson, Bupa, FM Global, Ticketmaster, GE Money, Roche, Nestle, China Tour, UBS, WBI, Follett and the Chengdu Government.
