JWT Singapore beefs up its planning and creative divisions

SINGAPORE – JWT Singapore has bolstered its planning and creative teams with three appointments, including Michael Chadwick, Mollie Hill and Alan Leong, effective immediately.

Michael Chadwick has joined JWT Singapore as the new head of planning, coming on board from Publicis in London where he played an integral role in the agency’s creative and effective work.

In his new role, Chadwick will be responsible for the quality of planning at JWT Singapore, coordinating with Pete Heskett, JWT’s Southeast Asia planning director, and Brian Dargen, digital head of planning at XM-Singapore on creating greater integration between XM and JWT planning.

Also joining the team at JWT Singapore is Mollie Hill who moves from the firm’s Sydney office to take on the role of senior planner. She will be tasked to work on the office’s global client Lux, along with local clients such as Singapore EDB. Hill will report to Heskett and Chadwick.

Meanwhile, on the creative front, JWT has tapped Alan Leong as its Singapore associate creative director to be responsible for its EDB and HSBC accounts.  He will work in collaboration with XM to deliver fully integrated communication solutions for the agency’s clients. In this role, he will report to Jun Fukawa, recently promoted as chief creative officer at JWT Singapore and Valerie Cheng, executive creative director at JWT/ XM Singapore.

Previously, Leong held posts most recently at BBDO Proximity Singapore where he was digital creative group head and at Arc Worldwide/ Leo Burnett. Leong has been recognised for his work, winning at several awards shows including One Show Interactive, Effies, Media Spikes, and Creative Circle Awards.
