McCann appoints ex-Carlsberg UK marketer to run Momentum Thailand

BANGKOK - McCann WorldGroup has appointed former Carlsberg UK marketer Thany Sakornsinthu as managing director of Momentum Thailand following the departure of Vijja Vajaranant.

Thany joins from Idea Tak Nor, a local activation agency. His career includes stints at Nestlé Thailand and Carlsberg UK, where he began his career as an experiential marketer.

Mark Ingrouille president of McCann WorldGroup Thailand and McCann's Southeast Asia area director, commented: "It's great that we have been able to attract this quality of management. Momentum has been one of the fastest growing disciplines within our family and we had reached a critical mass position where we really needed a heavyweight to help us maintain this momentum (pun intended)."
