National Wine Centre Australia launches tours for groups

Revolving around fine wines and foods, the tours are meant for groups that don't have time to travel out into a wine region.

The National Wine Centre of Australia in Adelaide has launched new series of tours intended for individuals, small and larger groups. The tours are for those without the time to head out to a wine region, or as a launchpad to discover the diversity of Australia’s wine regions ahead of further travels. Of course, tours are customisable to needs and budgets.

Some of the experiences on offer are sommelier-hosted tastings (6-30 guests) or bespoke dining experiences (4-10 guests) in the southern hemisphere’s largest open wine cellar amid almost 20,000 bottles. A four-course meal can be thrown in with matching wines.

Groups can also opt for the Australian Wine Discovery tour (max 25 guests) which provides an overview of Australia’s wine regions and most popular varietals. All tour and tasting experiences may be expanded with coffee, a bar plate or luncheon dining opportunity in the ‘Wined’ bar and café or the outdoor terrace overlooking the Botanic Gardens.

There's also the option of hosting a dinner at the centre in the outdoor or indoor spaces (or a combination of both) where customised menus and wine lists can be curated.
