MacMillan will be tasked with leading the strategy team in Mebourne and will play a collaborative role with the broader Ogilvy Group, locally and internationally.

He joins with 15 years' experience working with international brands including Virgin, Jaguar, ANZ and Jim Beam. Prior to joining DDB Melbourne in 2007, MacMillan spent eight years at Y&R London.

According to Michael McEwan, managing partner, BADJAR Ogilvy, the post was created specifically with MacMillan in mind. "We firmly believe a collaboration of smart, creative minds is critical in how we build tailored teams around client needs," he said. "And Gavin is a natural collaborator, leader, teacher and sharer of ideas.”
