The announcement marks the first senior appointments made by David Mayo, President Ogilvy & Mather ASEAN, since the departure of Stephen Mangham in late 2011.

"In Indonesia, Kat's expertise in acquisitions, digital and new business development will complement her deep knowledge of the Ogilvy Asia Pacific operations," says Mayo. "She is absolutely the right person for the role as we launch our next Five Year Plan with acquisitions and world class ideas and strategy at the core."

Mojica has spent the last eight years (four as CEO) at Ogilvy in Vietnam. Alex Clegg will replace Mojica as the Vietnam CEO where he has been managing director and planning director for the past six years.

Filipina Mojica has been with Ogilvy for fifteen years to date. Most recently she led the growth and expansion of the successful Vietnam office where new business and acquisitions have formed the core strategy there.

Argentina-born Asman joins from Wing New York where he was CCO for the past six years. With more than 100 awards to his name, including Cannes Lions, Clios, Montreaux and Echos, he is clearly excited at the prospect of his new role, "Indonesia is currently one of the world's fastest growing markets and to be a part of that growth with Ogilvy is a dream come true,” Asman stated.

With more than 200 people and key clients including Unilever, Konimex and Nestle, these moves represent a second wave of investment by Ogilvy in Indonesia. In 2012, the Agency celebrates 40 years of operations in Indonesia and Mojica’s remit is to implement an ambitious growth agenda.

"We are not alone in expecting Indonesia to be the next big growth engine after China and India," says Paul Heath, CEO, Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific. "Given its size, importance and potential we want to invest ahead of our clients and competitors in a world class strategic and creative offer that sets the market ablaze. Katryna and Gustavo and the strong discipline leaders we already have are the perfect combination to bring our Five Year Plan to fruition."
