Peter Diermayr appointed SMA 2011 chairman

Singapore – The Singapore 4As has named Peter Diermayr, MD of Mindshare Singapore, chairman of the Singapore Media Awards (SMA) 2011.

With over 16 years of experience in Integrated Marketing across Europe & Asia Pacific, Diermayr has worked both client and agency side in the fields of relationship and digital marketing.

Since arriving in Singapore in the year 2000, Diermayr has held various management roles in WPP companies including Wunderman/Y&R and Blue. Prior to his appointment to managing director at Mindshare Singapore, he was the client leader at Mindshare Asia-Pacific operations.

"I am delighted to take on the position as the SMA 2011 chairman, which has consistently worked towards raising the awareness and recognition of great work within the Singapore media industry. I feel very honored to be a part of SMA and to help continue celebrate the best in our industry," said Diermayr.

Back for the 7th year, the Singapore Media Awards, organised by the 4As, gives recognition and celebrates the importance of outstanding media thinking and strategizing behind highly successful advertising campaigns.
