Hutton’s last day with Fox is the coming Friday, 23 May, and he will take up his new role in London starting July.

A 30-year veteran of sports broadcasting, Hutton was managing director of ESPN Star Sports when News Corp acquired Walt Disney’s stake in the Asian joint venture. His departure follows the completion of the channel’s rebranding to Fox Sports.

The FOX Sports operation based in Singapore will continue to be steered by a three-person project team made up of senior FOX International Channels Asia executives led by Simeon Dawes, senior vice-president, advertising sales and partnerships, Asia-Pacific and Middle East for FOX One Stop Media. The other members of the team are Yvonne Tay, vice-president, territory head Singapore and Rohit D'silva general manager, Middle East at FIC.

Hutton's departure is the latest in a series of high-level moves from Fox including Avinash Himatsinghani, former senior vice president and general manager, Southeast Asia and Basil Chua, former director and territory head for Malaysia.
