Henderson will oversee client service, strategy, resources, capabilities and best-practices initiatives across multinational accounts for both OMD and PHD. She will report to regional OMG CEO Barry Cupples.

Cupples said of Henderson's appointment, “the growth of the Asia-Pacific region is still awe-inspiring. For global clients, Asia-Pacific is a key priority and their resources and operations are continuously growing here. Our success in this region is clearly determined by the strength of our people. In Torie we have a great leader, who can add significant value to our client relationships. Her depth of experience will be a real benefit to Omnicom Media Group’s ambitions going forward.”

Commenting on her new regional role Henderson stated, “I am confident of the expertise that will lead OMD and PHD’s local operations while I embrace the regional challenge and drive Omnicom Media Group’s overall value proposition in the industry.”

In a related development, Sony Wong, CEO of PHD Singapore moves up to an expanded role of CEO of OMG Singapore, Henderson's former position, while OMD Singapore business directors Anita Yeong and Chloe Neo have been promoted to joint managing partners of OMD Singapore’s local business. In addition to managing the PHD business, Sony Wong will work closely with Anita, Chloe and Jaydeep Chaudhuri, managing partner of OMD International, to spearhead OMD’s operations in Singapore.

Expanding on the realignment in the Singapore operations, Henderson said Wong had "demonstrated outstanding leadership and new business capabilities that makes him the perfect candidate to lead our operations in Singapore".

"Anita and Chloe are senior leaders, who have contributed significantly to OMD Singapore’s growth in reputation and talent management," she added. "The transitions have been seamless as Omnicom Media Group recognises the importance of succession planning and ensures there is an effective succession plan in the talent agenda.”
