Touchmedia aims to double its taxi fleet in 2011

SHANGHAI – Touchmedia, which boasts with the largest taxi advertising network in China, says it plans to double the amount of taxis installed with its TVs next year.

The company also expects to expand to three more cities in 2011. In total, the amount of screens will be expected to exceed 50,000, which it says equals to 600 million viewers annually.

Touchmedia also announced plans to add new functions to its taxi-TV network, including location-based advertising and tracking of passengers' data.
