Wong (pictured) has over 15 years of digital, e-commerce and online marketing experience gained at Mindshare, Dell, eBay and various internet start-ups since 1999.
As head of internet marketing for eBay China from 2002-2007, he managed an annual online advertising budget of US$30 million. More recently, he doubled digital revenue within one year when he served Mindshare as managing director and national digital head across Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Moreover, he is also a start-up entrepreneur who launched three dot-coms in the past 10 years: Jigocity.com, Xing.com and Cat-Street.com.
Wong will be responsible for streamlining ZenithOptimedia’s digital business, managing existing client relationships as well as exploring new business opportunities. “Digital is the future and will be an important channel for our clients' continued investment," he said.
The digital team under ZenithOptimedia looks after a number of clients such as L’Oreal, Puma, LVMH, Lexus, Reckitt Benckiser, Red Bull and Mengniu.
