Delightful illusion promotes upcoming Samsung unveiling

VIDEO: 3D forms appear to float and cavort inside a giant LED facade in Seoul, part of a campaign by Eleven and We Are Social.

Ad Nut demands that all large LED screens be made to look like massive glass boxes where amazing stuff happens. The one above, made for Samsung, is perhaps not the best example of the form Ad Nut has seen (or even the most impressive use of the same LED screen), but it's still delightful, and Ad Nut could sit enraptured and watch it all day (assuming an ample supply of cashews and Brazil nuts to snack on).

The Samsung animation, on the SMTown COEX building in Seoul, is part of a campaign by San Francisco-based creative agency Eleven and We Are Social to drum up interest in Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Unpacked virtual event—a product unveiling scheduled to broadcast from Seoul on August 5.

The global teaser campaign includes digital, social media and OOH. The so-called '4-D' (because it takes time?) LED display will also appear in Poland, Spain, the UK and the US.

Ad Nut is a surprisingly literate woodland creature that for unknown reasons has an unhealthy obsession with advertising. Ad Nut gathers ads from all over Asia and the world for your viewing pleasure, because Ad Nut loves you.
