DiGi encourages Malaysians to apologise

KUALA LUMPUR - DiGi Malaysia has launched a campaign, entitled ‘DiGi Dear Malaysians’, in conjunction with the several festivals occurring in the country this fortnight.

Among the festivals are Hari Raya and Independence Day this week, as well as Malaysia Day on 16 September. Created by Naga DDB Kuala Lumpur, this campaign brings citizens from different walks of life a little closer to each other.

The campaign, which runs from 23 August to 30 September, speaks to anyone who has ever regretted hurting a friend, argued with a parent, or misjudged a stranger.

Participants can apologise to their friends via DiGi Facebook page, twitter, email or a public declaration.

Sulin Lau, head of marketing services, DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd said the campaign is targeted at Malaysians of all age and creed.

“It is DiGi’s little way of spreading the healing power of forgiveness and helping Malaysians brighten someone's day, one apology at a time,” she added.
