JCDecaux | 2010 Soccer Fever Promotion | Hong Kong

JCDecaux Transport in Hong Kong is creating a hype around the football season with a '2010 Soccer Fever Promotion' project launched in local subway stations.

Mass outdoor displays have been set up with interactive games and areas along with a billboard tallying votes for the favourite team to win the upcoming FIFA World Cup tournament. Soccer fans will also be able to show off their skills in a ball controlling challenge on an indoor soccer arena. Other events include ‘Talk-of-the-town’ Soccer Fever Hurray that sees performers dressed in soccer jerseys to cheer on the progress of the FIFA World Cup.

Chan Siu Ki, a celebrated young footballer in Hong Kong has been chosen as the campaign ambassador. He represented Hong Kong in the 2009 East Asia Games and was named the Top Footballer in 2008 and 2009.

Amy Chan, deputy managing director of JCDecaux Transport and MTR Advertising, said: “Not only are we keen on identifying business opportunities for our clients, but also to join hands with them and support the development of football activities in Hong Kong.”
