Schofield was previously the vice-president of programming and production for the network, while Yap was senior marketing manager.

In her new role, Schofield will take on marketing communication duties on top of her existing portfolio of programming, original production and acquisitions, operations, and on-air, for all channel brands. She continues to report to Louis Boswell, general manager of AETN All Asia Networks

“History, Bio and CI have all seen stunning success under Schofield’s stewardship, and now with her management of the marketing role as well, there will be an even greater coherence to our brand messaging,” said Boswell.

As the new director of marketing communications, Yap is responsible for the overall marketing and communications portfolio for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Her duties include brand and consumer marketing, trade advertising and marketing and communications. She will report to Schofield.
