Agility Research & Strategy appoints director for research solutions

SINGAPORE - Luxury market research firm Agility Research and Strategy has appointed Philip Tiongson as director for research solutions, a newly created position. Tiongson joins from Mediacom where he was a director of analytics.

In his new role, Tiongson is tasked with strengthening the firm's current products and services in finance, technology, retail, healthcare and packaged-goods across Asia-Pacific.

Tiongson brings with him more than 15 years experience in econometrics-based modelling, media and communications research, and marketing accountability consultancy and was the founding director of the consultancy unit of Universal McCann Singapore, called UM|Consulting. He was later appointed as Director for the Interpublic Group’s Mediabrands Analytics across Asia-Pacific.
 
Commenting on the appointment, Amrita Banta, managing partner of Agility Research and Strategy, said, “We believe that he will be an important addition to Agility as we strengthen our position in the marketing research industry and expand our service offerings to clients in new categories.”
