Aktiv Digital CEO Alex Khan departs

SINGAPORE - CEO of Aktiv Digital Alex Khan (pictured) is to depart the media sales house for undisclosed reasons more than two years after launching the company in May 2007.

Aktiv Digital CEO Alex Khan departs
“It is with regret that Aktiv Digital announce the departure of Alex Khan,” Aktiv said in a statement. “He leaves behind a well-established business that is on a solid path of growth and has taken the business from concept to a position of market leadership.”

The company added that Khan “remains committed to the continued success of Aktiv Digital and will be working on special projects outside of the day-to-day operation, for the remainder of his time with us”.

While the company has not released its plans to replace Khan, Aktiv Digital has promoted Matt Sutton to the role of managing director in Singapore. Sutton is part of the original senior management team brought out to Singapore two years ago and will manage the company’s business in Asia.

The announcement comes one day after sister company dgmAsia announced the departure of CEO Fionn Hyndman  after eight years at the search and affiliate marketing company.

Both dgmAsia and Aktiv Digital are divisions of British holding company Asia Digital Holdings, formerly known as Deal Group Media.

Asia Digital Holdings also holds web media agency Deploy Digital, also based in Singapore.
