Asia-Pacific Breweries Singapore launches review of media agencies

SINGAPORE - The media review is in line with Asia-Pacific Breweries Singapore's (APBS) policy to ensure good corporate governance through regular reviews of its key vendors and strategic partners.

This will be a closed review with three other agencies to be shortlisted in addition to incumbent Mindshare, which has been undertaking media planning and buying across APBS brands since 2005.

“Our business in Singapore has enjoyed good growth momentum despite recent economic challenges. Today's dynamic media and communications landscape require strong agency partnerships to ensure that we get maximum ROI on our advertising investments and to connect with consumers through effective channels”, said Ms Wong Mei Wai, head of marketing (commercial) at APBS.

APBS has engaged R3, an independent marketing consultancy, to assist in the agency review and selection process.

The review is expected to conclude by September.
