BBDO Guerrero has promoted Francine Kahn-Gonzalez to CEO to oversee the growth of the agency’s different entities.

Gonzalez first joined the Filipino agency in 2005 as group account director to head up the Pepsico account, going on to hold a variety of senior positions including client service director, general manager and managing director.

Under her leadership the agency was recognised by the Philippine 4A’s Agency of the Year for Best in Management of Business for two consecutive years and also won metal in the Philippines Creative Agency of the Year category in Campaign Asia-Pacific's Agency of the Year Awards for the last three years.

Gonzalez will work alongside creative chairman and founder David Guerrero.

Tony Harris was the last person to hold the CEO title of BBDO Guerrero. He left in 2015 to lead BBDO in Japan, and is currently CEO of BBDO Hong Kong.

BBDO Asia chairman and CEO Jean-Paul Burge said Gonzalez is "relentless in the pursuit of great work" and has "all the leadership qualities that make this appointment not just well deserved but the simplest of management decisions to make".

"I have no doubt that Francine and David and the team will continue pushing the creative boundaries in the Philippines and well beyond," Burge added.
