Based in Singapore, Hemming will take over immediately. She has worked with Bloomberg Businesweek since 2009 and is not new to media sales, having previously worked with Financial Times, The Sun and News of the World. She has also done a stint with marketing agency Vibrant Media.

“In her tenure at Bloomberg Businessweek, Lucy has proven to be one of our more tenacious and creative sellers,” said Hugh Wiley, Bloomberg Businessweek’s publisher since 2010. Underscoring the importance of digital, Wiley added, “We are confident that Lucy will help grow our print and digital businesses.”

As for Lee, the former MD has now started work as managing director for a clean energy company, Global Green Economic Consulting, according to her LinkedIn page. This is a departure from her previous roles in senior sales positions wth Yahoo!, Star Television and Avenue Magazine.
