Bruce Haines to leave Cheil Worldwide

SEOUL - Bruce Haines, global chief strategy officer of Cheil Worldwide, has decided to leave the agency on April 14.

Haines' global duties will be absorbed by chief operating officer Michael Kim. Haines, who is currently travelling in Thailand, has not informed the agency of his next role. 

After leaving his role as global chief executive with Leo Burnett London, Haines joined Cheil in 2008 as president and global COO. He was hired by Cheil to spearhead its global expansion plans. 

“Bruce has successfully helped Cheil Worldwide to grow to become a global player," said Dai-ki Lim, president and CEO of Cheil Worldwide."Cheil Worldwide truly appreciates the significant part he has played in making the agency the successful company that it is today.
