Caltex promotes Techron with smiley faces in Hong Kong

Caltex Hong Kong has developed a campaign bringing happiness to town for Techron products by Chevron.

Caltex promotes Techron with smiley faces in Hong Kong

Caltex has joined hands with Smiley Central, a developer of animated icons for social media platforms, to promote smart and happy driving around Hong Kong.

In order to resonate with customers and reinforce the brand's quality image, the two companies have produced products like electrostatic stickers with driving tips, umbrellas, cushions and sun shades.

These items are up for grabs upon filling a tank at Caltex petrol stations in order to retain gasoline sales and attract brand switchers.

The agencies behind the campaign are Y&R and MEC Hong Kong. The campaign is supported through print, radio, in-store, direct marketing and online executions.
