China Mobile renews contract with HY Link for digital

BEIJING - China Mobile has renewed its contract with HY Link for its digital marketing account after a one-round pitch with three other agencies, including Focus Media's subsidiary Allyes and Dentsu.

HY Link is a Chinese agency with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. It has held the China Mobile digital account since 2004, though did not work on the brand for a period in 2007.

“We believe our strategic planning was stronger than the other agencies in the pitch,” confirmed Su Tong, CEO of HY Link.

China Mobile has still to announce the results of its media and PR pitches.
