City Chain picks JWT for mass market watch branding

HONG KONG - Hong Kong-based jewellery retailer City Chain has appointed JWT Hong Kong as regional creative partner for its Solvil et Titus watch brand, following a pitch that included incumbent Bates141 and Leo Burnett.

JWT will work alongside group subsidiary agency Contract to raise awareness of the brand among females aged between 20 and 35. Solvil et Titus is a affordable Swiss watch company that is owned by City Chain.

City Chain operates stores in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

The new work for Solvil et Titus is expected to roll out in July next year.
