CSL wins 'Asia’s Best Brand' at CMO Asia Awards

HONG KONG - Local mobile network operator CSL Limited has been named 'Asia’s Best Brand' at the CMO Asia Awards, held in Singapore on July 25.

The CMO Council selected CSL for its performance in three areas: brand strength, market share, and commitment share in Hong Kong’s highly competitive mobile service market.

Mark Liversidge (pictured), chief marketing officer of CSL sayid, "the CMO Council’s recognition of our achievements affirms and reinforces our pursuit of outstanding customer-centric innovation."

Other recipients of the 'Asia’s best brand' awards include Coca Cola, Starbucks, HSBC and Disney.

CSL also won two Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA) awards at the same ceremony. The first was a Service Retailer of the Year award for its mobile brand 1O1O. The second was a 2010 Service and Courtesy Award for an employee within its one2free lifestyle shop.

The award comes after CSL won the Best Mobile Carrier award at the Telecom Asia Awards in April 2011.

CSL is a subsidiary of Telstra Corporation in Australia.
