Fleishman-Hillard Japan appoints Yoichi Kinoshita as MD

TOKYO - Fleishman-Hillard has appointed Yoichi Kinoshita as managing director and partner of its Tokyo operations.

Kinoshita will step in as the chief operating officer supporting president Shin Tanaka in overseeing the operations of the Fleishman-Hillard Japan group of companies, which includes Fleishman-Hillard Japan, BlueCurrent Japan and VOX Global Japan K.K.

In his new role he will be responsible for developing client services, financial management, human resources, accounting and information technology.

Kinoshita joins the public relations firm from his position as senior business director at DDB Japan where he led social media marketing efforts. Prior to DDB, he also worked at Ogilvy & Mather and OgilvyOne Japan.

"We are delighted that Yoichi has joined our senior management team. He brings with him a long history of proven agency management, along with impressive expertise in social media marketing and social CRM," said Tanaka.

Based in St. Louis U.S., Fleishman-Hillard operates throughout North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin America through its 80 owned offices.
