The appointment, for which the scope of work has not yet been confirmed, follows two pitch meetings in Singapore and Shanghai, respectively.
This is the first hotel account in China for Bates 141.
"Four Seasons is an exceptional brand in its own right, not just within the hospitality industry," said Barry Leung, regional director at Bates 141. "This win presents a great opportunity for Bates 141 to tap into our insights on the changing luxury consumers in China."
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is progressing swiftly on a strategic plan to establish itself as the premier luxury hospitality brand in China. With three well-established properties anchoring its portfolio in Hong Kong, Macau and Shanghai, the agency said that the client has two more hotels opening shortly, including Four Seasons Hangzhou at West Lake, which is poised to open late 2010, according to its company's website.
The news follows the announcement that Bates 141 Shanghai won Green Court Property's branding assignment as reported last month.
