FourFourTwo signs partnership with Ballr

Global football publication teams up with live football fantasy app for commercial opportunities.

FourFourTwo signs partnership with Ballr

FourFourTwo has agreed to a partnership with Ballr to integrate the football fantasy app into the football magazine’s commercial portfolio regarding advertising, sponsorship and live events.

Following the companies’ successful collaboration on launching Ballr in Asia, the app will now extend its commercial capabilities through the global FourFourTwo network. In return, FourFourTwo content will also be served to Ballr users through the app and its social-media channels.

Founded in Singapore in 2016, Ballr is a free gaming platform for football fans to connect and compete in real-time during live football matches from several leagues, including the English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.

Allowing users to accrue points based on numerous moments throughout a football match, Ballr then offers game winners special prizes such as VIP match tickets and signed memorabilia. The company has already signed partnerships with La Liga, Juventus and Manchester City.

FourFourTwo global brand director Andy Jackson said the partnership perfectly complements the magazine’s core business, “offering our readers and our commercial partners an extension into live gaming”.

FourFourTwo is published by Haymarket, which also publishes Campaign Asia-Pacific.
