JWT Hong Kong announces three senior digital hires to lead XM team

HONG KONG - JWT Hong Kong has appointed David Jessop as business director, Billy Chan as group account director and Munhoe Tung as creative director to lead its digital team.

Jessop has over 10 years' account and project management experience working across digital and IT projects, including six years at regional digital marketing agency Web Guru Asia, and two years project managing CRM/ loyalty projects with Euro RSCG 4D for clients including Chevron and Carrefour.

In additional to key account like HSBC and Fedex, Jessop will also look after the GSMA Asia-Pacific mobile conference, which will be held in Hong Kong this November.

Chan has 10 years' agency experience including an earlier stint at JWT before moving to Leo Burnett affiliate Arc Hong Kong. He was also marketing manager  at Zuji and Pizza Hut.

Tung is an award winning creative director from Malaysia with a strong art and multimedia background. He joins JWT Hong Kong from XM Asia Pacific in Singapore as senior art director, and has been in the digital industry since 2000. During his five years there, he served many key regional accounts like HP, MasterCard, HSBC and Nokia, among others. At XM Hong Kong, Tung will be working on key local and regional accounts including Nikon, PCCW eye 2 and HSBC.

The trio will lead the JWT digital team, which has over 20 staff members. The team comprises of XM Hong Kong, a full-service digital agency, JWT MICE, a specialist team providing creative digital solutions to major conferences and events, and the existing digital staff.

Desmond So, CEO of JWT Hong Kong, said their combined experience and multinational backgrounds will drive the cultural change within the company, which will allow JWT to respond to clients' briefs with a fully integrated mainstream and digital solution.
